Paul
Calhoun
Originally trained as a Sociologist, Paul Calhoun came to
photography after working for several years as a community organizer. Mr.
Calhoun received a Master of Fine Arts Degree in 1983 from the City
University of New York. His photographs have been exhibited and published
in New York, Chicago, and internationally, as well as received financial support
from numerous public and private foundations, including the National
Endowment for the Humanities and the National Endowment for the Arts. Mr.
Calhoun currently teaches photography to disadvantaged children in his
hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and in Georgia, and works as free-lance
fine art, editorial, and commercial photographer.
